Why This Event Matters
Building on the success of the first ever global citizens’ assembly for COP26, the Global Citizens’ Assembly for People and Planet will give citizens a platform to have their say at COP30 and lay the foundations for a permanent global citizens’ assembly. Iswe Foundation is working closely with the Government of Brazil to ensure that COP30 truly is the “COP of the people”, marking a new era in citizen participation in global decision making.
Together, we can show the world that a permanent global citizens’ assembly is not just an idea; it’s a movement.
